Shifa-ul-Mulk Memorial Hospital for Eastern Medicine

A 50-bed hospital has been established at Main Campus, especially for the clinical training of the students of Eastern Medicine and for clinical training of the students of Eastern Medicine and for conducting research on medicinal plants. The Shifa-ul-Mulk memorial Hospital has also been commissioned to serve as a Family Medical Care and Services providing center. This is a well-equipped teaching hospital providing twenty four hours free community health services to thirty seven villages surrounding Hamdard University in the vicinity of Bund Murad.

A fifty bed well equipped hospital, situated at Madinat al-Hikmah, has been providing 24 hours free community health services to the 38 surrounding villages of Madinat al-Hikmah. Before the establishment of this hospital, the inhabitants of these villages lacked healthcare facilities. The sick inhabitants had to depend on home treatment or had to travel miles to get to a hospital. In Shifa-ul-Mulk Memorial Hospital, Medical Officers, both male and female, are available 24 hours, alongwith Para-medical staff. Ambulance service is also available for emergencies and referral cases. The patients only have to pay 10 rupees parchi fees to be inspected by the doctor.
